Strong Black Woman Syndrome refers to the widely held belief that Black women are naturally strong and can handle any challenge that comes their way without showing vulnerability or seeking support. While resilience and strength are admirable qualities, this stereotype can be detrimental to the mental and emotional well-being of Black women.
Strong But Soft is all about providing tools, resources, and best practices that empower Black women to prioritize self-care, set healthy boundaries, and seek support in their lives. We believe that it is essential for Black women to break free from the confines of the Strong Black Woman Syndrome and embrace their full range of emotions, vulnerabilities, and needs.
